DADU: At least six people were killed in an armed attack on a vehicle near Dadu-Sehwan Indus Highway on Friday.
According to the police, the incident occured due to an ongoing enmity between Mari and Lashari tribes of Dadu.
Armed men belonging to the Mari tribe opened fire at the vehicle of Lashari tribe persons while they were travelling from native village to Dadu city.
The dead were identified as Mithal lashari, Shahid Lashari, Hidayat Lashari, Mashooq Lashari, Badal Lashari and driver, Azam.
SSP Tanvir Ahmed Tunio said that a team has been constituted to locate and arrest the assailants.
Dead bodies were shifted to Civil Hospital Dadu.
