LAHORE: Four of the same family died when the roof of their house situated in the Shahkot area of Nankana Sahib collapsed amid heavy rain on Monday night, rescue authorities stated.
The roof collapse victim’s, sister and mother were also left injured as a result of the incident.
Rescue officials and local administration shifted them to the nearby DHQ Shahkot hospital.
17-year old Waheed, 12-year old Owais, 10-year old Noor Mustafa, and five-year old Sharjeel lost their precious lives during this tragic incident, meanwhile 38-year old Rehana was left injured along with her Sehar Fatima.
Similarly a nine-month-old girl lost her life after a two-storey apartment collapsed in Hyderabad’s Phalili Tando Mir area. At least ten people have been reportedly injured.
Rescue workers recovered child’s body, while ten others including women and children were rescued and shifted to hospital.
More people are said to be stuck under the collapsed structure meanwhile rescue efforts are underway
